ESG Gives Back: Boy Scouts of America

Help ESG support this worthy cause; contribute to the organization today.

About The Boy Scouts of America:

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

For over a century, the BSA has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun. The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through over a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has been serving youth for over 100 years – building character and teaching leadership. A century ago, it was founded because urban youth were losing touch with the outdoors and that need has never been greater than today. No organization is perfect and today’s youth have all kinds of distractions (good and bad); but the BSA offers a year-round program that will help them grow as young adults, servant leaders and good citizens.  I serve in a variety of roles within the BSA, most notably being the proud father of two sons that are both working on becoming Eagle Scouts this year.

Please help Scouting in your area:

  • If you have any skill, hobby or vocational aptitude, there is likely a merit badge that you could teach in your local area for a half-day, even once per year. Tomorrow’s leaders need mentors today, so check out my Scouting blog for ideas on how you can help in your area, even a little.
  • Or ping me and I will help you find a Scouting unit near you that could benefit from your experience and knowledge.
  • Or Bing/Google search for “Boy Scouts of America” and the name of the closest large city to you, to find out how Scouting is serving your local community.

And if you can, please also consider financially supporting this noble youth movement; monies donated at the link below support the youth, families and Scouting initiatives that I serve:
