Oracle OpenWorld 2011: Engineered Systems Move to Front and Center

Oracle made a bold move by leading its OpenWorld 2011 event with the release of a series of "purpose-built" engineered systems. Leaving mention of its standalone world class database management system in the background and the topic for follow-on keynotes throughout the week, Oracle's Engineered Systems led with a solution sell- with pre-assembled hardware and software that can be rapidly implemented.
