Symantec to Resell Informatica Data Archive

Organizations that have already deployed a backup solution for their databases or an archiving solution for their e-mail and file servers recognize the efficiency, cost, and performance benefits these solutions promise. Recently, Symantec and Informatica announced an agreement in which Symantec will resell Informatica's database archiving solution, Data Archive. Symantec's archive customers can now expand their long term retention management capabilities to databases-more importantly, Symantec's NetBackup customers can reduce the long backup windows plaguing their large enterprise databases.
