Microsoft adCenter Business Intelligence Infrastructure: Powered by EMC Symmetrix VMAX and Microsoft SQL Server 2008

EMC Symmetrix Storage and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 have been used to create the massively scalable foundation for the Microsoft adCenter Business intelligence (BI) platform. The adCenter platform, which delivered $1.9 billion in online advertising revenue[1] from Microsoft and partner properties (e.g., Bing, MSN) in 2009, was recently upgraded to accommodate a massive wave of new growth as Yahoo! search and online advertising began moving to the platform in 2010.
