This ESG Lab review documents hands-on evaluation and testing of Dell Foglight for Active Directory at Dell’s facilities in San Jose, California. The test environment was built to reflect a heterogeneous IT infrastructure to demonstrate the ability of Foglight to monitor and manage an Active Directory environment and provide end-to-end visibility across forests, domains, sites, and other infrastructure in both physical and virtualized IT infrastructures while diagnosing and resolving performance and availability issues and communicating critical state and service quality information to stakeholders quickly, clearly, and completely.
This ESG Lab Spotlight examines the ProtectWise Cloud Network DVR, designed to offer visualization, detection, and response to network security events including intrusions, advanced persistent threats (APTs), data exfiltration, and many others. Attacks are detected automatically as they happen and retrospectively, at any phase of the attack, on any device on the network, without prescribing limits on the retention window for network data. ProtectWise is engineered to deliver full-fidelity forensic capability, a striking visual experience, and an on-demand deployment model.
This ESG Lab Validation documents the results of hands-on evaluation and testing of Springpath’s Data Platform software. This report focuses on the simplicity of deployment and management, resource efficiency, and scalability of the Springpath software. ESG Lab focused on the ability of Springpath to extend beyond the capabilities of traditional converged systems; eliminate silos of compute, networking, and storage resources; and significantly reduce total cost of ownership.
