ESG Brief: xMatters’ Intelligent Communications: People Still Matter


xMatters recently introduced a new integration platform that connects its xMatters platform to partners via API integration. This broadens xMatters’ usefulness by enabling customers to integrate their ITSM processes with their DevOps and agile processes. The solution also enables interaction with xMatters within systems where people naturally spend their time—such as on Slack, HipChat, and Salesforce—which creates the right situational context for communication. To make these integrations succeed in practice, xMatters ought to roll out as many templates or cookbooks as possible, perhaps written as design guides or validated designs, to demonstrate the best practices for augmenting its existing prepackaged communication plans.
