Mark: Hi, Nigel. How are you today?

Nigel: Thank you, thank you, Mark, very good.

Mark: Thanks for joining us today. I appreciate you taking the time with this, to talk about the Digital Workspace Alliance Ecosystem. Definitely, something I've been talking a lot of the partners about, talking to a lot of potential buyers about digital workspaces for a very long time. What kind of drew you into that Alliance Ecosystem around in your workspace and maybe talk a little bit about customers, potential or existing customers, what they think about digital workspaces as well would be great.

Nigel: Yes, sure. So digital workspaces have been around for a long time and it's evolved in different names over the years, but what we've found is a group of partners who... we understand what is required, not just our piece, but we tend to understand everything about the whole ecosystem that's required, so we work together closely so it made sense to actually make something more formal around this and have this Digital Workspace Alliance of trusted vendors, rather than...

we usually have trusted partners and this is a way of having trusted vendors. So our customer can look and find a set of organizations that can help them in one hit, really.

Mark: And I think you're right that the term has bee around for a while. I've been guilty of, you know... I've actually really stuck with the digital workspace term, I think it works so well. It's just a matter of what really fits in there, and I think the Alliance had done a really good job of, you know, talking about those different pieces that kind of make up the whole.

Talk to us a little bit about where you fit in, how many of those pieces you are including in that digital workspace, ultimately, how you're helping your customers build that digital workspace.

Nigel: Yes, so we actually really fit into one, which is the ability to do virtual applications. We are all about the applications. Everybody else can present the desktops and monitor and do endpoints and everything on that, but without applications, you got nothing. So our job is to make sure that we can capture any application across any desktop and bring it in to the digital workspace.

Mark: I agree. There is a lot of focus on taking an entire desktop on taking things on the smartphone or these different device types, but you're absolutely right, it comes down, at the end of the day, your business is running on applications. People like myself and yourself can get work done inside those applications, so it's just a matter of having that inclusive of that digital workspace is very important, absolutely.
